[Review] CATCHING LIAM by GENNIFER ALBIN

Title: Catching Liam
Author: Gennifer Albin
Release Date: July 8th 2013
Genre: New Adult, Contemporary Romance

Twenty-one year-old Jillian Nichols only has one rule when it comes to boys: catch and release. Boy-catching isn't just a game for Jillian and her friends, it's a lifestyle. After all, boys might be good for a dance or a drink and certainly a little under-cover action of the scandalous variety, but expect much else and you're bound for heart ache.

So when her best friends and fellow boy catchers start dropping like flies junior year, Jillian is determined to keep boys in her bedroom and out of her heart. Until she meets Liam McAvoy, the kind of guy that sticks around to make waffles and who can't—or perhaps won't—take a hint.

Study abroad student Liam doesn't want to be another notch on Jillian's bedpost. Actually he has much more interesting ideas for Jillian and her bedposts, but his student visa's set expiration date means he can't promise her forever. That doesn't mean he's going to walk away from the challenge of discovering why Jillian is hell-bent at keeping people at a distance.

Before long, neither is sure who is catching who—or if they're playing for keeps. Jillian knows one thing though: falling in love will not only break the only rule of boy-catching, it could also break her heart.

About The Author

I like coffee. A lot. Writing gives me time to go get a cup without my kids. I like books as much as I like coffee, but it is easier to read with children hanging on you than drink coffee due to the threat of third degree burns. That's why coffee gets top billing in my intro: its unattainability.

I hold a Masters in English with a specialization in 18th century women's studies. While this is a highly marketable area of expertise, I stay home with my kids, which means my 3 year-old son uses correct grammar and doesn't burn down the house.

I have a ridiculously supportive husband who dreams of being included on a book jacket: "The author lives in Kansas with her husband, two children, and a Tuesday cat."

I'm represented by Mollie Glick of Foundry Literary + Media

"I'm Making Waffles." sounds like something off of the movie Shrek...lol Usually when I hear anything to do with 'waffle' I think of donkey from Shrek but now..no, now that is not the case..now I think of a dreamy, sexy, half naked (or completely) Irish lad who is a new top favorite book boyfriend for me. Because seriously who does not like it having someone make them breakfast..especially when that person making breakfast is an Irish God :P

Catching Laim is told in the POV of the main girl Jillian who is struggling with her own secrets..she never thought she would find a boyfriend. She was fine with just being with a guy once and not going back for seconds. That was until see met a the very persist, slightly annoying ( to her..not me :P ), sexalious Liam. He swoops in and wont take no for an answer..When she finally gives into his temptation ways they are so beautiful together in every way. Then something happens to off set a chain reaction of a few bad thing and it goes down hill for a bit but in the end it picks back up. I had no doubt in my mind that Liam would love Jillian even when he found out her secret. What can I say? I'm a total sucker for HEA..

All in all I truly enjoyed Catching Liam. Gennifer is a wonderful author and I can't wait to read Teaching Roman ( which is the second books in the series- its going to be about Jillian's friend Jess..Can't wait..eek!)
I would recommend this book to New Adult Readers.
